How the listings are compiled and ranked

Pattaya Massage Guide lists 113 adult massage shops. This page explains where each detail comes from and how the order is set. We don't visit shops; everything comes from public sources.

Sources

  • Shops' own websites and rate cards for prices, hours, services and contact details.
  • Google Maps listings for addresses, map positions, opening hours, phone numbers, the Google rating and the review count.
  • Google reviews for recurring themes. A point is only described as something Google reviewers mention when several reviews say it.
  • Visitor field reports and third-party listing sites for prices at some shops that don't publish their own, including field reports from thaiolddriver.com.

Prices, stated plainly

55 shops have prices on their pages. Only 10 of those come from the shop's own rate card. For the other 45, the prices are amounts Google reviewers mention paying, figures from visitor field reports or figures from third-party listing sites. Each of those pages labels the prices as not an official menu. Treat them as a rough guide, not a quote, and confirm with the shop. Shops without any price source say that prices aren't published.

Photos

Shop photos come from Google Maps contributors or shops' own websites. Area photos come from Wikimedia Commons under their licences. Every photo is credited on its page. Shop photos were reviewed, and anything showing staff line-ups, lingerie promotions or explicit signs was left out.

How shops are ordered

The order starts from each shop's Google rating, smoothed by its number of Google reviews, so a perfect score from a handful of reviews doesn't automatically beat a slightly lower score backed by hundreds. Small bonuses go to shops with a published rate card, a website and listed opening hours. There are no paid placements, no featured spots and no pinned venues.
